Scope of this Standard
This standard prescribes general requirements for architectural coatings used in interior and exterior applications and offered for retail in Trinidad and Tobago. This standard specifically outlines requirements for labelling, lead content and volatile organic compound content for architectural coatings, inclusive of both solvent-borne and water-borne coatings. This standard applies to paints, varnishes and stains used for architectural purposes. This standard does not apply to industrial coatings.
